Resting at Crowns

Resting at Crowns (2024)

Sarah Macdonald & Annie Henry

A rugged stencilled rock and engine Houses shape painted in different browns silhouettes a blue back ground that has is filled with blue swirly shapes. The foreground is a naked figure cut out of a blue cyanotype with some white flower details. The figure lies on a green wash.

This collaborative collage captures the The Crowns Engine Houses at Botallack Mine, a place we explored together. The piece began as a joint effort, with both of us working side by side, before we each added our individual contributions to complete it.
