Sarah created this painting primarily in blues and greens, intentionally lacking black pigments. The painting captures Sarah Macdonald's childhood dog wandering the streets near her mother's home in Gympie, Australia.

It conveys the connection to a loyal companion alone in unfamiliar surroundings.
