Energetic greys, blues and a bit of light pink scratch-like marks on black resemble the sky on which three butterflies hover over a silhouette of a Yucca branch covered in seedheads. The butterflies are oranges, yellow and white metallics. Simple dark brown wood frame behind perspex.

"Fleeting Light - Yucca Seedhead" was born from a desire to explore transience in a trio of artworks. I used oil pastels to infuse vibrant energy and alcohol inks to create reflective butterfly-like panels. The Yucca Seedhead's silhouette represents mortality, inviting contemplation on life's fleeting beauty—a blend of vibrant vitality and reflective impermanence in a single piece.
