Description

The play of light and shadow is mirrored by the contrast of colours, with the sunlit yellows and golds of the house set against the cool blues and greens of the shaded foreground. The composition naturally draws the viewer’s gaze upwards from the vibrant, shadowy base toward the sun-drenched serenity of the house. This transition captures a sense of warmth, isolation, and the stark, quiet beauty of the coastal hillside, without ever revealing the sea itself.
