This painting depicts a quiet crossroads on the moors between Pendeen and Madron, where two roads diverge: one a paved tarmac road, the other a rough dirt track. It reflects the moment of decision we all face at various points in life, where each path represents a different direction, guiding our fate. The scene suggests that choices, whether between the familiar or the uncertain, ultimately shape our journey. This “nowhere place” serves as a metaphor for those crossroads, where decisions quietly lead us forward.

• Materials - Oil on stretched canvas, framed in a solid wood (fitted tray) frame painted in Satin white
• Dimensions - 80cm x 76.5cm (canvas size), 83cm x 79.5cm x 5.5cm depth (frame size)
• All paintings come with a certificate of ownership and an insurance valuation letter. It has also been known for a working sketch or photo, that relates to that particular painting, to be included in the sale.

Paintings can be delivered in the West Penwith area, or collected from Wild West Works in St. Just.
