Reclamation (2022)

Creating "Reclamation" marked the end of making six large copper panels. It was the final piece, and I was frustrated with using scraps and the time it took. A friend visited my studio, saw it, and urged me not to paint on it. I didn't get why until I took a proper look and saw its raw beauty for the first time.
